5-27-26    THOUGHTS                

We link two passages together  today, to encourage good behavior on our part.  Two thoughts are here:  1.  The doing of good to someone   2.  The time when you are able to do the good.  I can no longer tell a mentor of mine how much he benefitted my growth in Christ.  My mentor died several years ago.  I meant to write a letter to him.  I just never got around to it.  I no longer have the power in this case.  Actively, do all the good you can do...  AND DO IT NOW!  Bless the kingdom and bless yourself!  Be God’s child!    Make LOVE abound...  God brings His love to us UNCEASINGLY!  

Gal 6:9-10   Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.  10  So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
Prov 3:27    Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do [it.]  

Our Prayer:
Father, we  praise You for countless blessings that continually flow from Your throne.  Make us perceptive to all opportunities to do good and to love.  Keep the wonderful story of Your love for us in the gift of Jesus, ready on our lips and powerful in our hearts.  We pray, O Father, that You will help us overcome any tendency in ourselves to withhold!  May a ready and pure love be our image  presented to our world.  In the name of our Lord,   Amen.
